Add Effects

Text Effects

You can add unlimited number of text effects to you screen movie. You can also use macro to add special text effect such as date/time, computer name...

Cursor Effects:

Cursor:

To view or change settings for cursor icon effect, go to Effects->Cursor Effects... and select cursor tab.

Highlight Cursor:

When this option is On during video capture the cursor has a highlight area applied around. This helps call attention to the movement of the cursor.

To view or change settings for highlight cursor, go to Effects->Cursor Effects... and select Highlight Cursor tab. Under Highlight Cursor, select a cursor highlight shape from the drop-down list. You can also set the color (using the [Color] button), the Size of the highlight area (using the slider), and select whether the highlight is to be Translucent, Semi-translucent, or Opaque. The preview area shows the appearance of each of these selections.

Highlight Clicks:

When this option is On during video capture, mouse clicks result in a circle effect being applied to the area the click occurred. This helps call attention to the action of clicking and can be supplemented with the audio click effect.

To view or change settings for highlight clicks, go to Effects->Cursor Effects... and select Highlight Clicks tab. You can modify the listed effect or add new effect using the highlight click editor dialog box. On the editor dialog box, you can select a ring or other pattern to be used for both right and left mouse button clicks. You can also select the color and size of the effect.

Sound Effects:

You can add sound clip to your screen video when a specific event occurs.

To view or change settings for sound effect, go to Effects->Sound Effects... and in the sound effect list editor dialog box, you can add/delete/edit sound effect.

In the sound effect editor dialog box, specify in the appropriate box the WAV file to be played to the corresponding effect. Use the [Open] button to search for WAV files to use. Use the play button to preview the sounds. Use the Volume slider to adjust the relative volume of the effect in the rendered movie.
